Open Letter to MVCAU Members:
Membership Fee Reductions:
Mill Valley Cultural Arts Umbrella is in the process of being reborn. Our slogan, “Arts for the Masses” will truly mean for the Masses. All membership fees and ad rates are being drastically reduced to better serve our arts community.
-
Family membership $15 dollars a year
-
Individual membership $10 dollars a year
-
Student membership will be $5 dollars a year
Umbrella Magazine Redesign:
Our monthly news magazine will become a quarterly Arts Magazine and is being redesigned to better serve our member artists, and will still be delivered to all active members. All Umbrella related news will be posted on the website, freeing up the magazine to focus soley on the arts, nothing more. The first issue of the quarterly magazine is scheduled for release in October and will be posted to the website, mailed to members and delivered to select locations within the Mill Valley Neighborhoods of Baltimore.
Umbrella Radio Overhaul:
Umbrella Radio will focus solely on Music and the Arts. We have given up our studio space in order to drastically reduce costs and refocus our efforts on our Mission Statement. Umbrella Radio has been a costly diversion from our Vision, but Executive Producer Eric Willison and Producer Chris Gavin are refocusing our energies on our Manifesto. Gone is the ridiculous fee and advertising price structure required to have a program.
Umbrella Radio is truly being reborn. These changes are long over due and are designed to better serve the community. Please bare with us during this time of change. We promise it will be well worth the the wait.
Sincerely, Eric S. Willison, President Mill Valley Cultural Arts Umbrella
