Graham’s Bio:

Graham reflectingWhen Graham Summers was ten, he had a series of dreams in which he saw himself, grown up, playing music. After two weeks of the dreams, he began pestering his parents to buy him a guitar. Ever since that time, he has been working to make those dreams a reality.

Throughout his musical upbringing, Graham’s played in numerous bands, most notably Jayakar, a Baltimore-based funk rock band, for which Graham was the frontman for six years. Recently, he began his solo career when Jayakar broke up in the summer of 2006.

Musically, Graham draws on diverse musical backgrounds and influences to create a sound that is both retro and contemporary. Starting with an acoustic pop core combined with intelligent, literary lyrics and elements of jazz, rock and classical, Graham’s music sounds both familiar and original.

Graham’s currently wrapping up his first solo Ep, slated for release in late January.
